Unleashing the Power of the Best Chrome Extension for Video Entertainment: A Comprehensive Review

With the rise of digital lifestyle and entertainment apps , online video consumption through different streaming services has surged exponentially. Amidst this landscape, one chrome extension has emerged as a game-changer in enhancing your online video watching experience - the Chrome Video Capture Extension . Garnering an impressive aggregate rating of 4.24 out of 5, this chrome extension is hailed as one of the top chrome extensions for video streaming.

Features that Make It the Best Chrome Extension for Videos

What makes the Chrome Video Capture Extension stand out is its array of robust features. It serves as a versatile video player, offering users the ability to learn languages through subtitles in various languages. Its dictionary function supports a whopping 79 languages, making it an ideal tool for language learners.

Furthermore, it allows users to load subtitles from OpenSubtitles.org or local files even when official Amazon subtitles do not exist. The extension also provides a link to a dictionary site by word click, a function to move the playback position, and the ability to translate a sentence with Google Translate. Moreover, you can modify the video's playback speed, brightness, saturation, and contrast as per your preference.

Positive User Reviews & Feedback

The Chrome Video Capture Extension has received a flurry of positive user reviews, with many users praising its user-friendly interface and functionality for language learning. User Xing Chen lauded the app for making it easy to learn Tamil, while Jaedong Shin found it to be very helpful for language learning. Another user, Lucy Jeong, expressed her happiness with the extension, saying it works perfectly for Amazon Prime video users looking to study English.

Room for Improvement

Despite the rave reviews, some users have pointed out areas for improvement. For instance, the user 'Just In Time' found difficulty arranging the subtitle placement to their exact preference. Another user, 'Alright Then,' pointed out that the subtitle tracking option needs to exceed -20 to 20 as often times, this is not enough. Considering these user feedbacks, it is evident that the developers could improve the extension's subtitle customization options.

Why You Should Use This Chrome Extension

With the Chrome Video Capture Extension, video entertainment is not only about watching videos but also about enhancing language learning and personalizing your streaming experience. Font is too small and if you try to make it any bigger, it spreads to two lines and each line overlaps. Amazon has ads and the subtitles continue to run. After the ads are over, it's quite a pain trying to find the right timing to get them back on track again. Also the app runs in the background as a system even when you close chrome. For Japanese, there is no Romaji to go along with the kanji. One plus - they have a control to slow down Amazon's video. It's a good first try. They should check out Language Reactor to see how it should be done.

It works pretty well. Unfortunately the subtitles are overlapping when displayed in multiple lines. It would be great if this can be fixed.

Sam Tune

Couldn't find subtitles for the first 5 shows I selected.

Albert Tambwe Miñón

For some reason it gets stuck on "Waiting for video to be Loaded..."

So far so good! Using Korean/English on prime and it works great after some adjustments -- I had to change the subtitle speed for the extension to get it to match up to the show, and I cant put away the sidebar with all of the translations because it'll cut off one of the languages on full screen, but this extension has worked better than others so I'm happy with it!

limited only, lot of bugs is there, i found one https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/prime-video-subtitles-tra/eijplpfkmkbjagemmnmplehpkcfjahli?hl=en this is good, easy, unlimited.

Could you add the function to permit to extrac the subtitles into a file like PDF? I'm language leaner and this function would be fantastic for a user like me.

It works but there are a lot of bugs. You need to click on "subtitle file cache" in setting to make it work. Moreover, there are some pop-up window in a foreign language (probably in Japanese). It would be interesting to normalize everything to English or to the native language of the user. However, the most problematic thing is that the subtitles don't get correctly synchronized every time, and you need to adjust it periodically... I remove it.

This is so GREAT! Better than any other alternatives! Please keep update and I would prefer some donation and pay for your continued update!

Sai Sail

I noticed when I changed the Subtitle Timing to "55", to match the video. I did this by turning on normal caption and this chrome extension and I changed the settings until the words match and value of 55 is perfect. Works great! now.

Abhishek Mathew

The subtitles timing gets off more and more as the video keeps playing. Please do something to fix this critical issue, as this makes the extension practically unusable.

Stellar Harbour

Can't even change position to not overlap with Amazon ones, so basically almost useless

mike lu

amazing. very helpful on English learning.

Ioannis Petros Moutsinas

I wish I could move the subtitles to the upper part of the screen. That way I could also display a second subtitle set by amazon.
